Quick answer: Upload one or more files of up to 25 MB each. Text and file contents are processed on your device. The result is a list of email candidates, not proof that a mailbox exists or permission to contact its owner.

Plain text and structured text

TXT, TSV, CSV, HTML, HTM, XML, JSON, MD and LOG are scanned as text. This works for exports, logs and copied page source, but the tool does not interpret every field or follow links found inside a file.

Word, spreadsheets and PDF

DOCX: the tool reads document text, including text in supported tables. XLSX, XLSM, XLSB, XLS and ODS: it reads all worksheets as text. Embedded objects and macros are not executed. PDF: only selectable text is extracted; scanned image PDFs need OCR first.

Email and contact files

VCF: email fields in contact cards are read. EML: address headers and message text are read, but attachments are not opened. MSG: sender, recipients and message body are read. Complex or encrypted messages may yield incomplete results.

Limits and unsupported files

Each file is limited to 25 MB; actual speed and capacity depend on the browser and device. Password-protected or rights-protected Office files cannot be read. Old Word .doc files, ZIP archives, PST, MBOX and image files are not supported. Convert them to a supported format or use OCR for images.

Use the results responsibly

Review the candidates before exporting. Pattern matching cannot confirm delivery, ownership or consent. Process only data you are entitled to use; an extracted address is not an invitation to send unsolicited mail.
